Parametric Design refers to any design process performed based on logical algorithms defined by the designer and 'Parameters' (variables) defined by the site. As such, based on computation, complex organic post-modern forms can be achieved.

The process relies on the expertise in Parameter Selection, and the design of the logical algorithm, which must be skillfully calibrated by the Architect, in order to provide the "Human Touch"."Parametric Analysis" delves deeper into the niches of design, to ensure optimal comfort and efficiency.By integrating data from Airport Weather Stations, which provide reliable weather information, architects can simulate and analyze various environmental factors like wind velocity, direct sunlight hours, solar irradiance levels, and spherical view percentage. These simulations help inform design decisions, such as adjusting fenes.

The simple way of putting it:We do a lot of environmental simulations to figure out if this one window should be aa bit smaller than it is because the bedroom is getting too hot in the summer.
